The Town of Grove is in the northeast part of Allegany County.  We are over 25 square miles of working farmlands and forest.  You won't find us on many maps; however, you will find the Hamlet of Swain, which is part of the Town of Grove where the Swain Resort provides some o the best skiing and snowboarding in western New York.

We are a rural community of about 500 residents covering 35 square miles.  We have some of the most beautiful land in western New York and enjoy the peace and quiet of our country setting.  Many plots of land in Grove are used for summer homes, vacation cottages, and campsites.  In fact, roughly 60% of the land in Grove is owned by non-residents.
